Solution:

When two shapes overlap, the one on top cover the one at the bottom.

  1. The X shape is not covered by any other shape, so the X shape is on top.
  2. Let's observe from top to bottom. The shape on top is the triangle on the right. It covers the other triangle on the left. The rectangle is covered by both of the two triangles. Finally, the oval is covered by the rectangle. Thus, the oval is at the bottom.
